C4 GLADIUS 85 RIFLE

GLADIUS is a monocoque speargun, made entirely of high modulus carbon fiber, precise, fast, with low friction and equipped with a high rigidity of the barrel for excellent shooting stability.
GLADIUS has a cuttlebone shape tapered towards the tip which makes it extremely hydrodynamic, easy to handle and easy to brandish.
The shapes and internal volumes have been designed for perfect balance in the water.
It is equipped with an integrated rod guide along the entire length of the barrel.
All these features make GLADIUS extremely precise.
The C4 “Auto-R” release mechanism with integrated line release can be positioned on the right and/or left side.
The release system and the trigger are made entirely of AISI316 stainless steel.
The mechanism release nut is obtained by cutting and nailing, making it 100% stainless, extremely resistant to abrasion, and with a rigidity far superior to any nut produced by micro-fusion or MIM.
The head, made entirely of carbon and integrated into the barrel, allows for a single or pair of ø18mm elastic bands.
On the head there are, on both sides, two stainless steel hook-shaped line guides, and a line guide, positioned on the base and screwed to the barrel.
GLADIUS is supplied as standard with a double, anatomical and adjustable polypropylene handle.
The integrated carbon buttplate features a soft plastic butt plate for greater stability during loading. The rifle's frame also features a dedicated slot for the C4 Hercules reel.
The speargun is supplied with a 6.5mm American shaft with fins and a 16mm mono sling.
